God's Paintbrush
The Mission of God’s Paintbrush
Today, God’s Paintbrush exists to celebrate the outdoors, faith, and American heritage. Every design, illustration, and crafted piece is shaped by real life in the wild—capturing everything from the warmth of a morning sun over the water to the untamed spirit of native animals.
"Look closely at nature, and you’ll see the brushstrokes. God’s Paintbrush is about slowing down, looking up, and bringing that sense of wonder into everyday spaces."

Raised under the big skies of Montana, Garrett Blomquist grew up with a deep reverence for the natural world. Spending his early years on a working cattle ranch, working for John Deere, and finding solace hunting, fishing, and camping across the mountains, he developed an instinctive eye for the quiet beauty and vivid palettes of the open wilderness.
Those roots formed the heart of God’s Paintbrush—a creative studio built on the idea that the natural world is a living masterpiece, and each day offers a brand-new canvas painted with sunrise light, timberlines, and wildlife.
Precision, Purpose, and Craft
Before turning his focus fully to art and design, Garrett dedicated nearly a decade to service and technical precision. Serving over eight years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class Petty Officer (AT1) and Master Training Specialist, he honed a standard of discipline and detail that defines his creative work today.
After his naval career, Garrett spent years prioritizing family as a dedicated father of four before formally expanding his creative toolchain, earning a degree in Graphic Design to bridge traditional hands-on craftsmanship with modern digital artistry.
